Edmundo Ruiz is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Tessera Technologies, Inc. Ruiz oversees all company administrative functions including Information Technology (IT), Human Resources, Facilities and Security. He will also have corporate responsibility for strategic initiatives

Ruiz brings to Tessera an extensive history of successful business management and substantial global experience. He joins Tessera from iSoftStone, which he joined in 2009 as senior vice president, leading European business operations and strategy. Previously he served as vice president of international IT and operations at Avaya, where he was responsible for integrating a 5,000 employee acquisition, executing business process re-design and IT consolidation. Before Avaya, Ruiz served as global CIO and head of eBusiness for Siemens Mobile. Ruiz later became global head of IT Infrastructure and CIO for EMEA at Siemens AG, where he was responsible for 40 CIO organizations in Europe and managed all IT and eBusiness initiatives.

Edmundo earned his MS in Management from the Sloan Fellows Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his BSEE from the Monterrey Institute of Technology.
