Liam Goudge is senior vice president heading up Tessera’s Corporate Development activity, as well as general manager for Tessera’s Corporate Development. Prior to this position, Goudge was general manager for the company’s Embedded Image Enhancement Division. Goudge joined Tessera in 2005 when he created the company’s first corporate development team to lead the development and execution of the Tessera’s growth strategy, including mergers and acquisitions. Goudge played a critical role in the company’s entry into the consumer optics market through its acquisitions of Shellcase Ltd., Digital Optics Corporation, Eyesquad, and FotoNation.

Goudge came to Tessera from ARM Holdings plc, where he was one of the company’s early employees. During his 11 years at ARM, Goudge held a variety of positions in licensing, sales, product marketing, and business development. His last position was as ARM’s director of worldwide business development, where he was responsible for guiding corporate strategy and development, as well as merger and acquisition activity. Prior to ARM, Goudge held managerial positions in marketing at Texas Instruments, in both France and England, where he worked on wireless products for the early GSM cellular market.

Goudge holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Electronic Engineering and French from the University of Nottingham, England. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Marketing from the Cambridge College of Marketing.
