Rick Neely is executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Tessera Technologies. Neely joined the company in August 2012 and is responsible for the company’s finance, accounting, financial planning, and investor relations. He brings more than 30 years of financial and operations management experience in high technology industries, including financial planning and reporting, accounting, budgeting and forecasting, procurement, and risk management. His international experience includes extensive finance, treasury, and logistics services in Asia and Europe.

Prior to Tessera, Neely was CFO of Livescribe, an innovative digital pen manufacturer where he managed all financial functions as well as the supply chain and customer support. Prior to Livescribe, from 2005 to 2011 he was the CFO at Monolithic Power Systems (MPS), a fabless semiconductor company specializing in analog power management products. Prior to MPS, Neely was the CFO of NuCORE Technology, a privately held developer of leading-edge digital and analog imaging devices for digital still and video cameras. Neely also held senior roles at several semiconductor related companies, such as Synopsys, Inc. and AMD. During his 16 years at AMD, he had overseas assignments in The Philippines, Singapore and Switzerland.

Neely holds an MBA degree from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Whitman College.
