DRAM is the most common type of memory in use today, and new low-power DRAM technologies have been implemented in wireless and other portable devices including wireless handsets, PDAs and MP3 players. Tessera's µBGA® package includes a "face-down" approach that provides higher performance through shorter lead lengths, and accommodates center-bond pad configurations. Our stacked µBGA® technology enables DRAM to be combined with flash, ASIC and other DRAM devices in a single package.
