SRAM
SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) offers significantly higher performance than DRAM and requires faster access times and higher speed interconnects. When optimized for size, weight and cost, SRAM is often implemented in cellular phones, PDAs, MP3 players, digital cameras and other devices. With their low profile, lightweight and small size, Tessera's µBGA® packages provide an good solution for packaging SRAM. Our stacked packaging technology also enabled SRAM dice to be packaged with other components, such as flash memory and ASICs.
