Diffractive Optics
Diffractive Optics are binary or multiple phase level optics that are deposited or etched in Silicon, Fused Silica and Germanium. Diffractive Optics manipulate light through diffraction.
With their highly flexible functionality, diffractive optics can be used to perform conventional optical functions, and to perform functions that are difficult (or impossible) to implement any other way.
Features/Benefits:
- Proprietary software maximizes diffractive efficiency and uniformity
- Unit-to-unit consistency & repeatability
- Unmatched design to fabricated performance correlation
- Standard Wafers: 150mm diameter, other sizes with custom tooling
- Standard Materials: Si, SiO2, and Ge wafers
- Single-sided and Double-sided wafer processing
- AR Coatings & Metallization
- Micro-replication into polymers, Si, SiO2, etc.
- Sub-micron patterning and alignment capabilities
